FirstCare Health Plans is proud to offer our new workers' compensation health care network under the newly enacted Workers' Compensation Reform House Bill 7. FirstCare Health Plans is one of a few select networks operating under the new Texas guidelines.

Our network covers the eight counties contiguous to Lubbock County and was built to serve the needs of employers, government agencies, and insurance entities in caring for injured workers.

We are committed to providing high quality, affordable care to achieve the goal of helping injured workers return to productive employment as quickly as possible.

In addition to a network that includes more than 250 doctors, rehab/occupational health providers, and multiple hospitals, FirstCare also furnishes Utilization Review, Contracting and Credentialing Services, Case Management and Quality Improvement services under the direction of a Medical Director who is board-certified in Occupational Medicine by the American College of Preventive Medicine.
