Over twenty-six years ago, High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo joined with local physicians and other medical providers to combat the rising costs of health care. The goal of our Health Maintenance Organization-which today is known as FirstCare-was to provide the highest quality health care services at a reasonable price. Affordability has remained a key value of FirstCare throughout the years. We believe that health care should be within the reach of all Texans, and we work hard to provide flexible plans that suit your needs.

We still provide heath care at affordable prices, but we've expanded our geography far beyond Amarillo, and currently provide excellent, cost-effective health care services and benefits to Texans in counties across the North, Central, and Western regions of the state. We have offices to serve you in Abilene, Amarillo, Lubbock and Waco-so no matter where you are, we're there.
