FirstCare to Discontinue Individual & Family Plans in 2024

As of Jan. 1, 2024, FirstCare will no longer offer Individual & Family plans. The last day of your clients' current Individual & Family coverage with FirstCare Health Plans will be Dec. 31, 2023. While many former FirstCare members will be mapped to a comparable plan from Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, some members will be mapped to other health plans outside the Baylor Scott & White family of plans. Your clients who are enrolled with Baylor Scott & White Health Plan can find helpful answers to Frequently Asked Questions.

Agent Update: COVID-19 VACCINE
FirstCare Health Plans and its self-funded employer groups will cover the cost of administering the COVID-19 vaccine, with zero cost share for members.
