Member Advisory Groups for STAR & CHIP

FirstCare holds quarterly Member Advisory Group (MAG) meetings with members and member advocates—in Abilene for the Medicaid Rural Service West (STAR) and in Lubbock for the Lubbock Service Area (STAR and CHIP). These meetings have been taking place quarterly since May 2013.
 
Our goal is quality health care and finding ways to help our members get and stay healthy. Our Member Advisory Group meetings include lunch, an agenda, minutes and a sign-in sheet.  Each meeting we ask members and member advocates to review FirstCare member materials including provider directories, member handbooks, member letters and fliers. Valuable feedback is received during these meetings to improve our service to members.
